PROVIDING WARRANT  and FUGITIVE TIPS

This department actively works the warrants issued by our courts and we encourage the public's participation in this effort.  We provide 6 easy methods for citizens to pass the information to us, the "Online Tip Form" being our preferred method:

• Use our Online Tip Form (anonymous; no email address needed)

• E-mail the information that is requested in the "Tip Sheet".  You may "clip and paste" the tip sheet into your mail program and then fill in the information.  If you have a digital image of the subject available, please attach it to your e-mail

• Print and FAX the completed "Tip Sheet" to us at: (619) 441-4583.

• Print the "Tip Sheet", fill in the blanks, attach a picture if available, and US mail it to our office address listed below 

• If the subject is a fugitive from our 10 Most Wanted page, Email San Diego CrimeStoppers or call their hotline at: (888) 580-TIPS 24 hours a day.

• Telephone the Sheriff's Records/Warrant office at: (858) 974-2110

Please fill in as much information as possible.  The more information that is provided, the more likely that we will be able to make the arrest.  This will also help to insure that we have the correct subject.  If you have only sketchy information, please send it to us anyway.  It may be sufficient in combination with other tips, to be able to assist us.
