Commander Glenn Revell joined the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department in 1983.  He serves the Court Services Bureau and is the department’s representative to the California State Sheriff’s Court Security Committee.

Early in his career, Revell served at the Central Jail, Descanso Detention Facility, Detention Training Unit, Lemon Grove and Imperial Beach stations.

Revell was the county-wide coordinator for the department's Community Oriented Policing Unit and served as Facility Commander for the East Mesa Detention Facility, Santee Station, Personnel Division, Public Affairs Division, and the Central Investigations Division.
