The San Diego Sheriff's Department enforces all restraining orders in
the County of San Diego.
Any person at least 18 years of age who is not a party to the action may
serve restraining orders and orders after hearing. The original proof of
service must be filed with the San Diego Superior Court, and a copy must
be submitted to the San Diego Sheriff's Department Warrants Division by
one of the following methods:

▪ In person at Sheriff's Headquarters, 9621 Ridgehaven Ct., San Diego, CA 92123
Restraining order forms are only available in the Clerk's Office at any
San Diego Superior Court location.
Once the restraining order is issued by the court, you may request that it be served by the Sheriff's Department.
Please deliver a copy of the order to one of our
Civil Offices.
