Restraining Order Inquiry

The Restraining Order/Protective Order inquiry page was created to provide you with the following information pertaining to Restraining and Protective Orders and Emergency Protective Orders:

• The type of order issued

• The date of issuance

• The court from which the order was issued

• The date the order was served

• The date the order expires

• The name of the individual restrained

You will be able to conduct inquiries by entering either the Restraining-Protective Order number and/or the name of the restrained party.  The minimum information required to start a search is the case number or last name (partial name OK).

The restraining order database is updated at least twice daily.  The page will also have a link to a Restraining Order Informational Pamphlet. This pamphlet includes information that will assist victims of domestic violence or harassment to navigate their way to obtain a restraining order.  Hard copies of the Restraining Order Informational Pamphlet can be printed from this same website.
